USLAW NETWORK

In 2002, Dillingham & Murphy was invited to join the USLAW NETWORK and is the Northern California participant in that organization.  The USLAW NETWORK is a national organization composed of 61 independent member firms in 45 states with over 3,500 attorneys.  Law firms in the network are invited by invitation only, and members must be AV-rated by MartinDale-Hubbell.  This association allows Dillingham & Murphy to operate with other quality firms throughout the country as associate counsel, local counsel or if need be as coordinating counsel.  Using a USLAW NETWORK member firm provides clients with national access to some of the best trial lawyers in the country when needed for the litigation and trial of complex, difficult issues and cases. These member law firms are highly skilled at early case evaluation and resolution, when possible, while providing cost effective representation, and can also serve as counsel or resources for our firm’s clients.  In addition to litigation, member law firms also handle transactional work.

Dupont Primary Law Network

Dillingham & Murphy was the first law firm selected by DuPont as a Primary Legal Service provider in the United States, Canada  and Mexico. As one of DuPont's 40 Primary Legal Service providers, Dillingham &  Murphy represents DuPont
in a variety of matters, including toxic torts litigation, labor and employment and products liability actions in California and throughout the United States. Dillingham &  Murphy was the recipient of the 2000 DuPont Challenge Award.  Our association with other DuPont Primary Legal Service providers also give us access to a variety of resources - from conference rooms and deposition services in Montreal to lawyers in Mexico City, for the benefit of all our clients. The Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel - FDCC

The Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel (FDCC), composed of recognized leaders in the legal community who have achieved professional distinction, is dedicated to promoting knowledge, fellowship, and professionalism of its members as they pursue the course of a balanced judicial system and represent those in need of a defense in civil lawsuits.

The FDCC is an international organization founded in 1936 to further the principles of knowledge, justice & fellowship. The Federation has approximately 1300 members from the United States, Puerto Rico, Australia, Canada, Mexico, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and South America. Its members include experienced attorneys in private practice who specialize in the defense of civil litigation, corporate counsel, risk managers and insurance claim executives. Membership is by invitation only following an extensive peer review selection process.

The FDCC values and is committed to promoting diversity within the organization's membership, environment, and culture. The FDCC seeks to foster understanding, acceptance, and respect among all people. The FDCC recognizes that the inclusion of people from diverse backgrounds enriches us personally, strengthens our organization, and enhances the quality and talent within the legal profession.

California-Asia Business Council

California-Asia Business Council (Cal-Asia) is one of California's leading private-sector, non-profit, international business-promotion associations. Their mission is to help California companies of all sizes develop or expand their commercial ties with the economies of Southeast Asia and China. The Council's programs in California have featured heads of state from Malaysia and the Philippines, Vietnam's Deputy Prime Minister, Chinese and other Asian trade and economic ministers, ambassadors of the United States and Asian countries, and senior business leaders from both sides of the Pacific. The council's vigorous program schedule, its initiatives focused on sustainable development in Asia and China's financial sector, and the periodic dissemination of key business highlights has earned two coveted awards from the US Department of Commerce.

California Women Lawyers

California Women Lawyers promotes the advancement of women in the legal profession and is an active advocate for the concerns of women in society.  Since 1974, CWL has represented the interests of more than 30,000 women in all facets of the legal profession, influencing lawyers, educators, students and judges. CWL has consistently provided a high level of support and commitment to their individual career goals, and to the collective goals of women in law and society.  As the only statewide bar association for women in California, California Women Lawyers maintains a primary focus on advancing women in the legal profession.

Defense Research Institute

DRI is the largest international membership organization of attorneys defending the interests of business and individuals in civil litigation. DRI is committed to: enhancing the skills, effectiveness, and professionalism of
defense lawyers, anticipating and addressing issues germane to defense lawyers and the civil justice system, promoting appreciation of the role of the defense lawyer, and improving the civil justice system and preserving
the civil jury.

HISPANIC NATIONAL BAR ASSOCIATION

The Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) is an incorporated, not-for-profit, national membership organization that represents the interests of the more than 100,000 Hispanic attorneys, judges, law professors, legal assistants, and law students in the United States and its territories. From the days of its founding three decades ago, the HNBA has acted as a force for positive change within the legal profession. It does so by encouraging Latino students to choose a career in the law and by promoting their advancement within the profession once they graduate and start practicing. Through a combination of issue advocacy, programmatic activities, networking events, and educational conferences, the HNBA has helped generations of lawyers succeed.

California Minority Counsel Program

The California Minority Counsel Program’s mission is to promote diversity among the state’s attorney population, and thereby advance a more inclusive and just legal profession. As the state grows increasingly more diverse, it is imperative to have lawyers of different backgrounds to understand and serve the needs of these incredibly diverse communities and ensure a more inclusive legal profession.

Professional Liability Underwriting Society

The Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) was founded in 1986 by industry professionals who recognized the need for a forum for individuals involved in the field of professional liability. The Society is a non-profit organization with membership open to persons interested in the promotion and development of the professional liability industry.

Queen's Bench

Queen's Bench Bar Association of the San Francisco Bay Area was formed in 1921. Queen’s Bench seeks to advance the interests of women in law and society, and plays an integral part in furthering the progress of women in the legal profession. Queen’s Bench is a non-profit voluntary membership organization made up
of attorneys, judges and law students. Queen’s Bench gains inspiration from our long and proud tradition of women lawyers standing up for equal rights and equal opportunity, and working together.

Minority Corporate Counsel Association

The Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) was founded in 1997 to advocate for the expanded hiring, retention, and promotion of minority attorneys in corporate law departments and the law firms that serve them. MCCA accomplishes its mission through the collection and dissemination of information about diversity in the legal profession.
